My art training began with a foundation course at Byam Shaw School of Art and Drawing in London. I then embarked on a career as a picture researcher, sourcing a diverse range of photographs for books and other media. This was invaluable experience giving me a strong awareness of form, composition and colour. After gaining an art history degree from the Open University, I took up painting again in 2005. I completed an MA in Fine Art at University of Hertfordshire in 2021.

Moving from 2D to 3D around 5 years ago, my work currently alternates between painting, collage and sculpture,predominately in an abstract style.
